We would like to present an opportunity for students and PhD students to take part in the international competition for graduates in the sea sector.
From 29 September to 2 October 2025, SEAFUTURE 2025 will be held at the Military Naval Arsenal of La Spezia, Italy. The event will showcase state-of-the-art maritime industry expertise through high-tech conferences and seminars, exhibitions of cutting-edge products and projects, and B2B meetings attended by companies in the sector, the Italian Navy, and numerous foreign navies.
As part of the event, the SEAFUTURE AWARDS 2025 prize has been launched to promote experimental theses, whether three-year, master's or doctoral, developed in industries or laboratories of University Departments or Research Centres, aimed at products or processes in the field of maritime technologies, which may be used in different sectors (Dual Use), and/or which refer to one or more of the following sectors inherent to the Blue Economy: Marine Technologies and Innovation, Sustainability, Transport and Maritime Infrastructures.
The prize is open to three-year and master's degree graduates, doctoral students and PhD students from the Italian and foreign academic world, both civil and military. The call for entries for the prize is published at: seafuture.it/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Bando-SFA-2025_EN.pdf.
