The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics of ZUT receives modern equipment 02.02.2021 13:10
The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics Laboratory of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin received modern equipment – a CTX beta 800 TC turning and milling centre.
The new equipment is the size of a small bus. The purchased Integrated Mill Turn Centre will be used for research related with the design and optimization of production processes - their automation and robotization.
The device was purchased as part of a project financed by EU funds from the Regional Operational Program of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship 2014-2020. It is co-financed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The turning and milling centre cost over PLN 2 million.
