In the category of "Higher education" Białystok University of Technology, Silesian University of Technology, Lublin University of Technology, Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz and West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin were nominated.
The competition jury assessed the projects according to five criteria: policy relevance, communication and dissemination potential, impact, innovation and transferability of results.
ZUT received an award for the results of the KA107 mobility project implemented in cooperation with universities from Belarus, Georgia, Ukraine and Vietnam, coordinated by Agata Bruska - head of the International Mobility Department of ZUT.
The first place is a great prestige and satisfaction. The "EDUinspirator" competition is recognizable in the industry. Five projects were nominated amongst several hundred in the "Higher education" category. In the previous edition in 2019, ZUT was nominated in the same category, but did not receive a statuette. Therefore, we are more than happy that our work has been appreciated for the first time in the history of the competition, said Agata Bruska, project coordinator.
The objective of the project was the exchange of students for a semester or an academic year and the exchange of university employees for the purpose of teaching and training.
The competition jury emphasized that twenty-two mobility of students, academic teachers and university administration employees were implemented in the ZUT concept.
Nowadays, there is hardly anything more important than the internationalization of the academic world. That is why this project was a success - said Marek Zając, who hosted the awards gala.
The ZUT project was an important contribution to the implementation of the strategic goals of the international development of universities in the region. Students acquired knowledge, skills and competences that significantly increase their employability in the labour market.
The competition results were announced due to the pandemic through new media.

The aim of the "EDUinspirator" competition is to disseminate the results of educational projects, to promote good practices in this area and to show how important a role in life is played by the process of learning and exchanging experiences and knowledge.
