The event gathered over 400 participants interested in rain water management and adaptation to the climate change in the cities. Among the participants could be found members of local government, civil servants, scientists, students, lawyers and designers.

During the conference, within the three discussion panels, could be heard the opinions of different specialists representing the following institutions:

– world of science in the fields of environmental engineering and law sciences;

Such variety of speaker’s specializations provided each participant with extended knowledge and understanding of issues related to rain water management from an interdisciplinary perspective. Interest in rainfall management is constantly increasing due to more and more frequent heavy rains which consequences may have impact on all of us. For that reason, it is so important to search for the most effective solutions, that could help to prevent rainfall consequences and to see the rain as a resource instead of a threat.
