- The main branch of the economy of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship is the chemical industry, and in the structures of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin there is the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Engineering with the highest scientific category. We are a leading university in Poland in terms of innovation and the number of patents, educating highly specialized staff for the developing sector of the chemical industry. Our university was appreciated, which resulted in the appearance of ZUT on the Polish Map of Research Infrastructure and the award of large financial resources. Therefore, the Center for Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Process Engineering was established, which will be equipped with the most modern research infrastructure, offering open access to microscopic, spectroscopic and analytical techniques in the field of scientific research. As part of the center, eight new laboratories will be built, equipped with 18 modern apparatus and 67 elements of research infrastructure - said the Rector of the West Pomeranian University of Technology, Prof. Jacek Wróbel.
