West Pomeranian University of Technology, Szczecin was represented by Student Scientific Association of Animal Nutritionists and Student Scientific Association of Ruminant Breeders "TAURUS" operating at the Faculty of Biotechnology and Animal Husbandry. First place in the session abstract Section of Biology and Animal Husbandry took students representing both associations: Katarzyna Pszczoła and Filip Hilarski who combined their interest in nutrition and cattle husbandry and presented the results of research on: “Effect of nutrition on the Angus cattle beef production”
It is worth mentioning that this is another win at the SKN animal nutritionists conference organized by SKN of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences.
Both associations operate at the Faculty of Biotechnology and Animal Husbandry. Scientific supervision over the Student Scientific Association of Animal Nutritionists is carried out by Ph.D Eng. Wioletta Biel, while scientific supervision over the Student Scientific Association of Ruminant Breeders "TAURUS" is performed by Ph.D Eng. Ewa Czerniawska-Piątkowska.
At the same conference in the Economics section, for the presentation of the paper “Business model innovation in SME”, first place went to student Oksana Urbanskaya representing the Student Scientific Association of Economic Analysis and Innovation. It is also another achievement of an ambitious student of the Faculty of Economics. Last year at the Nationwide Scientific Association Session at the University of Agriculture in Krakow, took first place in the Economics section for a presentation "Educational services offer at Szczecin universities in the light of surveys".

In addition, at the Wrocław conference, ZUT was also represented by Karolina Rutkowska and Barbara Szwichtenberg, a students of the Faculty of Food Science and Fisheries from the Students' Scientific Association of Nutritionists. In the abstract session: Section of Biotechnology, Food Technology and Human Nutrition, they presented the results of the research "Analysis of selected hypertension risk factors in the group of
patients in the cardiovascular clinic", for which they won the second place.
Students' Scientific Association of Nutritionists operates at the Department of
Food Technology and Human Nutrition at the Faculty of Food Science and Fisheries. Scientific supervisors are : Ph.D. Eng. Anna Bogacka and Ph.D. Eng. Anna Sobczak-Czynsz.
