Their winning study entitled “Refrigerated Container Transport Energy Efficiency” is an analysis of the effect of different refrigerated container locations on container ships on the energy used by these loading units. The winners are students of the third year of logistics at the Faculty of Maritime Technology and Transport of the West Pomeranian University of Technology. The awarded thesis took third place in the category of power engineering and energy efficiency and was created under the supervision of prof. Ludmiła Filina-Dawidowicz.
The international competition for student scientific works "Black Sea Science 2022" is organized by the Odessa National University of Technologies with the support of the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science.
The university invited 117 specialists from 19 countries to the jury, including: USA, Germany, Switzerland, Angola, Benin, Italy, China, Turkey, Pakistan, Lithuania, Latvia, Romania, and Poland. There were 225 works to be reviewed in five competition categories, including food science and technologies, economics and administration, information technologies, automation and robotics, power engineering and energy efficiency, as well as ecology and environmental protection.
