Professor Maciej Nowak from the Faculty of Economics of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in the Advisory Team of the Ministry of Economic Development 16.06.2020 12:20

Professor Maciej Nowak a legal advisor and a member of the Committee for Spatial Economy and Regional Planning, Polish Academy of Sciences was appointed by Minister Jadwiga Emilewicz to the Advisory Team for the reform of the spatial planning system.

The team will support the work of the Ministry by preparing recommendations in the field of spatial planning and development. It consists of experts who have various specializations in the field of spatial development, both in the scientific and professional sphere.

Professor Maciej Nowak for several years has been a member of Committee for Spatial Economy and Regional Planning, Polish Academy of Sciences and the author of over 200 scientific publications and several hundred publications in the field of spatial planning and development. Currently, he is collaborating on the implementation of scientific publications with representatives from several research centres in Poland and abroad.

Professor Maciej Nowak is also a member of the team (together with representatives of the Institute of Urban Development, Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Warsaw School of Economics), which in the latest NCN award received funding for the OPUS research project "Assessment of the condition and importance of green infrastructure as a natural and social resource of small and medium-sized cities in Poland".
