20.07.2022Our scientists have entered the third stage of work on the hydrogen energy buffer
The West Pomeranian University of Technology, together with the University of Szczecin and Enea Operator, are implementing an innovative research project called H2eBuffer. As a result, a hydrogen energy buffer will be created to store energy and stabilize the operation of the power grid. The system will use green hydrogen produced using renewable energy. The project has entered the third stage, in which Enea Operator will build a buffer prototype based on research carried out by universities. In the Gdańsk business centre - Olivia Business Centre, 34 winners from Polish research centres were awarded. Among them was prof. The competition was organized for the 14th time by the Lodz University of Technology. Our Faculty of Computer Science was represented by three teams.
