INFORMATION CLAUSE REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA AT THE WEST POMERANIAN UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY IN SZCZECIN
The administrator of your personal data is the West Pomeranian University of Technology, al. Piastów 17 70-310 Szczecin.
Your personal data (m.in name and surname, correspondence address /e-mail address, telephone) are in the ZUT database. We have acquired them as a result of our cooperation so far. Your data is processed for purposes resulting from the Law on Higher Education, as well as other regulations on the basis of which ZUT conducts specific activities and for purposes resulting from our legal relationship with you. We have made every effort to ensure the security of the processed data.
Your personal data may be transferred to other entities with which ZUT cooperates, on the basis of separate agreements – only for the purpose of achieving our purposes. You have the right to access your data, rectify and delete or limit processing, as well as the right to transfer this data to another administrator. At any time, you may lodge a complaint with the body supervising compliance with the provisions on the protection of personal data, if you consider that the processing of your data violates the GDPR. The above information concerns the processing of your personal data for the purposes indicated above and contained in the database of persons obtained during the previous activity.

From 25 May 2018, the legal basis for the processing of personal data contained in the ZUT database is Article 6(1)(a),(b),(c),(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR), i.e. the legitimate interest pursued by the data controller. This means that personal data from the above-mentioned database will also be processed for analytical, statistical purposes as well as for possible determination and pursuit of claims and defense against claims. Personal data will be processed until the consent is withdrawn, if the processing is based on it or an objection is raised. This period may be extended until the expiry of the limitation period for possible claims, if the processing of personal data will be necessary to assert or defend against such claims.
