Tasks of the Plenipotentiary for Equal Treatment:
- initiating solutions for equal treatment for the entire academic community;
- taking action to develop procedures for counteracting discrimination and equal treatment, e.g. due to gender, sexual orientation, age, ethnic origin, religion, political views or trade union membership;
- providing support to the injured, primarily by providing information on the possibilities of obtaining support and specialist help;
- counteracting the occurrence of events violating the principles of equal treatment of students, doctoral students and university employees;
- development of a survey/questionnaire to examine the current state of gender equality for ZUT;
- development of the Gender Equality Plan for ZUT (2022-2024);
- implementation and monitoring of the Gender Equality Plan for ZUT;
- popularising knowledge about equality and diversity, eg about the social campaign ‘We Are All Equal’;
- promoting attitudes ensuring equal treatment of students, doctoral students and university employees;
- cooperating with other equality advocates and organisations;
- sharing and developing equality materials;
- supporting the university community in implementing applicable anti-discrimination procedures.
