We know the results of the European Ranking of Engineering Programs - EngiRank, which was prepared by the Educational Foundation "Perspektywy" in cooperation with the Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE). The West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin was ranked 16th among 81 universities classified, the “by subject” discipline of Materials Engineering was ranked first in Poland and second in Central Europe.

The airlock constructed by Szczecin researchers from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics ZUT scans the face, measures the temperature and blows a mist of disinfecting liquid directly onto the hands and clothes. The device itself decides to admit the tested person to the public utility facility.

Ten scientists from the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin were included in the group of the most influential 2% of scientists in the world. The authors of the ranking considered citation of their publications by other authors from their disciplines and subfield discipline. Authors from Stanford University have published the latest compilation in PLOS Biology.

Professor Jacek Wróbel, Rector of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, awarded „Outstanding Teacher and Youth Guardian 2020". Among the honoured teachers was also professor Iwona Bąk from the Faculty of Economics of the West Pomeranian University of Technology.

Intel Technology, in cooperation with Education Foundation Perspektywy, for the sixth time awarded prestigious scholarships in the "New Technologies for girls" program.
