Ten scientists from the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin were included in the group of the most influential 2% of scientists in the world. The authors of the ranking considered citation of their publications by other authors from their disciplines and subfield discipline. The head of the Department of Manufacturing Technology and a scientist from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin - Bartosz Powałka - received a professor nomination from the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda.
